In short

  • Shopify orders import straight away once your store is connected.
  • Shipping rules pick the courier for every order automatically.
  • Tracking writes back to Shopify and orders are marked fulfilled for you.

What you'll need

  • Your Shopify store
  • A Tranzit Group Australia account
  • A courier account, or use ours
  • A thermal or A4 printer

If you sell on Shopify, most of your shipping time goes on the same few jobs: copying orders into a courier website, comparing prices, printing labels and pasting tracking numbers back into each order. Here's how to hand those jobs to Tranzit Group Australia, from connecting your store to your first batch of labels.

Step 1

Connect your Shopify store

Sign in to the Tranzit Group Australia portal and connect Shopify under Ecommerce Integrations. Orders start importing straight away, so new Shopify orders appear ready to ship and nobody has to copy them across by hand.

Step 2

Connect your couriers

Add the courier accounts you already use under Courier Integrations. You can connect as many supported accounts as you like and ship at your own negotiated rates, or use Tranzit Group Australia's courier services. Supported couriers today are Australia Post, Aramex, MyPost Business, Direct Freight, Couriers Please, StarTrack, TNT and Team Global Express.

Step 3

Set your shipping rules

Shipping rules choose the courier for each order automatically. You can base them on postcode, state, weight, item quantity or order source, or tell Tranzit Group Australia to pick the cheapest available service. Set them once and every new order follows them.

When you want to check an order by hand, Get Quote shows live prices from every courier you've connected, side by side, with the best value flagged.

Step 4

Select the day's orders and print every label in a single run. Labels are formatted for both thermal and A4 printers, and manifests and packing slips print in the same run. Orders missing required details are skipped and the reason is shown, so you can fix them and print again.

Step 5

Let tracking take care of itself

Tracking numbers write back to Shopify and each order is marked fulfilled automatically. Your customers follow their parcel on a branded tracking page, with SMS and email updates at dispatch, in transit and on delivery.
